“There is a basic life current or impulse resonating in and through us as a yearning of the heart, this current and yearning manifests as human needs and values”.

“The essence of any expression, no matter how hard it is to hear, is actually life itself - life calling for life. When I experience this, not as a mental concept, but in a fully felt, bodily-relaxed stance - it is the living essence of nonviolence and of real compassion.” – R. Gonzales

Who it is for:

The workshop content will be determined in part by skill level and experience of participants, and we request that you have some prior experience with Nonviolent Communication and an understanding of Marshall Rosenberg's work.  For example, previous NVC trainings, participation in one of Robert's workshops or on-line trainings, or being in a regular NVC practice group are types of experience we are looking for.

What to expect:

We will journey together into our own authentic Life force, or essential living energy that permeates all of our lives We will begin the journey with the divine/life Force. The divine/life force is soul force.  It is the life energy and is the very expression of our inner being or soul. This fundamental life energy unfolds through the heart as our deepest longings. The longings of the heart then manifest as human needs and values in all of its forms.
Living from the energies of compassion, creativity, love and clarity is living our passion.  This is living the Self-In-Life.

When we are not able to live in this fullness of our authentic essence, we suffer. This course will increase our capacity for self-compassion and unconditional self-acceptance, even in the most trying circumstances. We will strengthen our ability to come to our pain in the natural open-heartedness of mourning.  Vulnerability is available to our inner space of experience as a way of meeting life. This program will explore mutuality as an inner space of experience and in the relational space; a spirituality as our relationship to life force; beauty as the central essence of the heart; and Integrating and living from our wholeness always.

Participants will experience:

·      Practices of staying connected to authentic essence

·      Deepened capacity for self-acceptance and self-compassion

·      Practical ways to bring compassion to the space of relationship

·      An increased capacity for vulnerability and mourning

·      A clarify sense of your own spirituality

·      Enhanced sense of trusting your own place in life and purpose

This workshop is designed to support you to go deeply into the processes Robert Gonzales offers, with ample time for personal exploration, reflection and integration.  Each day will offer opening meditations and talks, individual and small group practices, movement breaks, and opportunities for discussion and sharing.
